was launched in 2005 as The Neighborhood  Playhouse of Palos Verdes. 


Producing critically acclaimed revivals and area premieres, the company quickly became recognized as one of Southern California's leading new regional theatre companies.







Performance highlights include the West Coast Premiere production of Charles Busch's OUR LEADING LADY,
 the award winning Los Angeles premiere of the
Jason Robert Brown / Alfred
Uhry musical PARADE,
and acclaimed stagings of classics including
THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD, AMADEUS and
CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF.



Re-branded as  Transfer Theatre Group in 2012, the theatrical troupe continues its visionary leadership, under
the Artistic Direction of Brady Schwind.



Supporting  The Transfer Group's vision as an active playground for the cross development of new and revival properties across multiple creative mediums,
Transfer Theatre Group works with projects eying commercial New York transfer and film production, while providing Los Angeles audiences with
outstanding premiere productions of new plays and musicals.


Transfer Theatre Group is a professional company employing members of Actor's Equity,
The Dramatists Guild, and SDC: The Society of Directors and Choreographers.
